Summer Plans

My plans for this summer are many. The first is to found a work in a place where pay well good, because I have many plans and to implement them I need money.

The second on the list is paint my room because I do not like the last color that I painted, which was already five years ago, and it suits a change. I also want to go out and do a lot with my friends, go for a walk, to eat, to the movies, theater and while me with them does not require money, I want that we can go without worrying about restricting the things that consumption. Also I have plans to continue by going to swimming, the bathwater of the university in the summer, for two reasons: because I love the sport and swimming in hot weather.

On the other hand I wish I could go out of Santiago, even at the beach for a weekend away to enjoy Santiago and heat that invades this time of year. And so can enjoy with people that I like, who for reasons of college I could not see; hoping that the semester ends and come soon the holidays I say goodbye and see you later ...

Favourite Piece of Art

This piece has untitle, but it is known as The Hotel Eden, It is of the year 1945 and its dimensions are 15 1/8 x 15 ¾ x 4 ¾, the author of this work is Joseph Cornell American sculptor, this work is part of the surrealist art movement. This piece has the technique of the assemblage consisting of the juxtaposition irrational of objects that are discarded by other people. Cornell was a pioneer and a celebrated exponents of this technique.

This piece of art is my favorite because makes me feel like nothing is really discarded, everything can be used to make other thing, even the things that we think are rubbish if viewed from another perspective can become a piece of art.

Besides the fact that they are three dimensional pieces make it seem as if the objects come to life, as if the bird we see in the box really was a bird and not one paper. The scene that opens in front of my eyes is a parrot that communicates through the rope that is at its peak and sending messages from their room to the whole galaxy, because the yellow ball above is an orb of our solar system that connects the parrot to the entire universe without having to leave their box.

Around the time

A Picture that I like?  Well this it my favourite, in this image you can see the square of Valdivia, I do not remember which was it name but I think it was the most important of the city. I prefer this over other pictures, because at it's makes me feel like I was back in that moment, feeling the wind running very strong, musty smell, the lights bring warmth to our eyes we announced the approach of night, the voices of trees mingle with human and becomes the background music of the moment and we absorbed that feeling startle when dusk begins to flood the spaces through which we travel. People enjoying what you are doing as I observe them, and even the first time you step out there I feel part of the landscape through which it runs forever.

Back there again and again, a common and recurrent place; is the only that we need....the extraordinary is overrated.

Christmas day is coming....

                             Gifts, gifts and more gifts

In this period of the year which everybody have a shopping craze, I want to get a helmet and protection for rollerblades, these kind of things give to me protection from the pain and potential injury that it can generate if I fall using the rollerblades. Why I want these things? Well because all the protection are expensive, and every time that I says to me that I will buy it, I have to use the money that I have to others things that are more necessary at that moment.

I think that the chance that I get it is not close because I don’t say it to nobody, so the people who presents to Christmas don’t know what I really wants, and in a future I neither tell them.If I don’t get well I will makes do a tantrum….  Not really! Because I don’t get it’s in all this time and in one or another way I will buy theme! And I will be really satisfied.

With this protection I will look very funny, but I will feel like a really professional in this area jajaja, like I be a racer of rollerblades with the power to do anything, pirouette or through any distance without any risk to stop me continue practicing.

If I won the lottery? wow! what would I do?

In the first moment I spend the money in pay the tariff of university and buy a house where I can live. Then I build a community center to all the people to wants to go, by especially to children, there can be lots of workshops able to many activities, and then can work in there all the time because the money would not be a problem, and I don’t have to answer to a boss, that was be awesome.

Then another thing that I want to do is travel to know different places, like south of Asia; I choose this area in specific is because attract me a lot: landscape and the people who live there. I want to know this area  in depth, visiting it is possible all the parts of the region.

Well we see you the next week. 

Time Control

A super power that i would like to have is control of time, to can rewind and pause the time; I want to have it because then i have a lot of time, time to do everything that I want, have time with friends, study for university, sleep, do fun things and amend things that i do wrong, in all aspects. 

Negative affects? well, no really. But eventually could have, like generate a rupture space-time, that you know, some people says (theoretical physicists) that the time is a serious issue, and whatever that we do in the past have consequence in the present, like some kind of theory of chaos. 

Good or Evil? I just only used, i don't think that I used to evil thing, but i don't now how good it would be for other people, actually I consider  that the only benefit is to me, because only I have it and the rest of the people can't see the process, them only see the effects, so on the other hand I would't use this power for evil cause I don't want to hurt anyone. 

If I can agree another characteristic, choose that when I touch someone, this person can   rewind with me or continue normally even when the time is slow. 

BLOG & MORE BLOG

The experience of blog fruitful in the sense that it is a didactic way to learn to write in another language, including incorporating this vocabulary. However, I think it would be more entertaining if all subjects were free, because we could choose the character that we give to the blog, turning more personalized. We can even upload videos talking or things like that ... The point is that many times respect to the themed, I do not have much to say and sometimes I don't know what to say, it's horrible. I'm sure many of you happens, as in this moment, I do not know what else to add.

For the other hand I like blogs because you can customize and make it aesthetically look beautiful according to our taste, but in terms of content I have to say I don't like because it displeases me to share my experiences with people that I don’t know, both the course and by the fact that anyone on the network can see what I write only with find the link.

 

Well anyway it would have been more fun interact with all of you (course), but finally I didn't make comments on yours posts.

Fanzines

 At first I have to express that I really enjoy illustration, I like the drawing  and the visual arts, but I didn't run it much because I don't have innate talent so takes me a lot of time realize a idea that I visualize in my mind. That is why I like to watch the illustrations that make others, in this area fanzines are my favorite, because they are like little books that don't are expensive and bring a lot of illustrations relating to a particular topic.

I like the pictures because I believe they are the perfect medium to convey feelings, since words in this field is an extremely limited resource, while drawing offers endless possibilities of expression.

Some Illustrators that I like are the Abrazo Ediciones (Camilä Barralës y Camilö Jerëz), they are great and make travel through all Chile, making t-shirts, cups, posters, fanzines, pins, patches, etc. Their work is very good, I like mainly because their working with recorded that it is a very versatile technique, it allows you to work in great detail.

I ate, I eat and I will eat

My boyfriend wants me to talk about him and tell you that is thrasher, but instead speak of him, I will write about the things I like to eat; This is very important because there are many things I don't like and this things are food that the people consumer a lot, so they hate me for not eating, such as pizza, sushi and avocado, I hope no one tries to kill for it.

So the things I like to eat are rice and all kinds of sweet things, from candy to pastries, except quince paste. Among my favorite desserts are pastries, ice cream and homemade cookies within them things that don't have much chocolate.

My favorite ice cream flavor is the three milk whenever I buy wafers, I ask two flavors to this way eat more three milk. But by far, the best ice cream flavor three milk ice cream is in creamy Helados la Foca ,  has a smooth taste is not very sweet but is delicious.

In short: I am very tricky to eat, but I always have room for sweets.

Web site

The web site's that I use most is a free database called Scielo, because it has issues dealing with different areas and have a lot of papers, even though not having much filter with respect to the elements that are published, but this doesn't mean a real problem at the time to use it because in the end you see that it serves and how it is to be valid. Besides not require remote access (VPN) university for admission as required by other journals or data bases, often even being connected you can’t access to the paper because the subscription is later than the date of publication. Also Scielo has a domain relating to the use of specific countries in South America and some European countries like Spain and Portugal, which has papers in three langue’s, so the papers can be translated from one language to another, and you can find other documents written in their original language.

                                                         

Travel

I love traveling in open spaces where they may be windy and wet, the year before with some friends and their boyfriends went to Chillan and then to Valdivia.

In Chillán we went to the house of an aunt of one of them, who lives in The Vergara, a rural town three hours from Chillan, an open space between hills where every house is about five km from each other. It was great to be there, you could enjoy the tranquility and the landscape,that rain in summer, pure water, the smell of earth. We had a good time to do many things, ate a lot and we could walk to anywhere without running into anyone around.

Valdivia was different because we were renting pieces, where we went around the city, parks and forests. The stay there was shorter and could not see as many places as we wanted because I was sick and end up in the hospital. Well after all it was a good holiday.

Paternalism: Mode On

Discrimination can be defined only concretized, and today I when to talk about discrimination around the paternalism that is adopted against different situations, denoting negativity because overprotection of institutions leads to the segregation of people on which it is exercised. For example in the case of the university depending on the ingress mode they behave differently in front of people, such as the SIPEE students who are summoned to an annual interview because they are worried about their performance, how has seemed the experience and if there are problems they face, thus they ensure that none of priority admission leave the career by socioeconomic problems. Because these problems can have it all students, but do not care about all of them in the same way; in addition to the failure to come by PSU he does not make them different from their peers.

Bed, sweet bed

My favorite piece of technology is my bed, because is the space were I do everything, my studies flowing like the music. My bed is multifunctional use it as a sofa and as a bed, because as it is a square and not larger than 50 cm of high that means it is small and seems a futon. It has wheels so that their movement from one place to another is easy and has header so it is very easy to make.

 So not occupy much space that is great because my room is small. My bed has many cushions so it is great to get to jump up after a tiring day, ideal for an afternoon of music and windy. It is comfortable to sleep as to be on the computer to studies, playing or watching a movie.

Expectations for a new semester !

In this semester I want to learn things extra academics like to do flags to swing and dance afrocolombian; cause if I don’t do other thing out of university I feels that this absorbs me. So my expectations are don’t stress myself and have more time than last year, to meet with friends and to do activities out of academics dial.  

For the academic side I hope that this semester will not be stressful and it reaches to read everything that is required without dying under a mountain of photocopies.

Well I have a good expectative for this semester after all, I trust that this energy don’t disappear in the course.

Hi, I'am a girl that her name is Nicole. 

I lives out of the country for couples of years when I very child, with my family we enjoy very that experience, we do a lots of travel in those time, and the life was very simple to me.  When we went back to our home my parents divorced, so actually I live in Maipú with my mom, sister and  a little puppy who calls Sasha.

Well my life at this moment have been an experience very entreating, because i knowing very people that are wonderful, and I always look new things to do.
